    How Does Compression Therapy Work?

    • Our lymphs are located all over our bodies, starting from our neck down to our feet. Unlike our heart which can pump blood throughout our body, the lymphatic system doesn’t have that function and needs help pumping toxins out of our system, Compression Therapy assists in that function.
    • This device applies pressure in sequence from the bottom of your feet towards the upper part of your body. The pressure wave is created by 24 overlapping inflatable chambers inside a garment.
    • Each chamber inflates in sequence, to assist in moving lymphatic fluid. Once the stage is complete, the pressure is released, and the cycle begins again for the duration of the treatment.

    Why Choose Compression Therapy?

    • Compression therapy is a method that helps move excess inner liquids and promote the lymphatic process. It works by gently massaging your body to stimulate your immune and metabolic system for better blood circulation and detoxification.
    • The lymphatic system works very closely with our spleen which is responsible for producing white blood cells to fight infections. The spleen contains lymphocytes that destroy bacteria and viruses and removes them from our bloodstream.

What is the difference between MLD and ELT?

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a technique that uses hands to apply pressure and motion to help stimulate proper lymphatic fluid flow and drainage. Electro-Lymphatic Therapy (ELT) also known as Air Compression Therapy stimulates the lymphatic system on a much deeper level and enhances lymph flow much faster.
